Max Baumert

Max Baumert (born 16 July 1992) is a German Muay Thai kickboxer. He is currently fighting out of the Golden Glory Germany Gym based in Berlin, Germany, where he is trained by Andy Schadenberg.
==Biography and career==
Max Baumert discovered early his passion for martial arts. At the age of 10 he began karate. Since 2006, he trained Kick and -Thaiboxing. In 2007 he began with amateur boxing, in 2008 he had his first boxing match. Since then he has had 35 boxing matches(28-6-1).
In 2009, Max Baumert had his first K-1 fight. Since 2010, he fights for Golden Glory Berlin.
He was expected to face Hunkar Kilic at ''Glory 6: Istanbul'' in Istanbul, Turkey on April 6, 2013 but his opponent was then changed to Ismail Uzuner. He knocked Uzuner out with a high kick in round one.
At the ''KOK World Grand Prix 2013'' -156 lb tournament in Magdeburg, Germany on November 23, 2013, Baumert beat Mohammed El-Mir by unanimous decision in the quarter-finals before losing to eventual champion Chris Baya by KO in the semis.
